The project is aimed at enhancing the digital presence of a construction company through a comprehensive redesign of its website. As a leading player in the construction industry, they recognise the importance of a user-friendly, visually appealing, and informative online platform.
The focus is on improving User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design to create a website that not only showcases the company's portfolio but facilitates client engagement.
As a team, we performed secondary user research and competitive analysis, and created wireframes, site maps and high-fidelity prototypes.
I worked on this project as part of my UX design internship and was given the liberty to bring in my option out of two versions they intended to show to the client; mild and medium UI. What I showcase here is the mild version of the website design as it resonates more with my style of work.
The customer had an outdated website showcasing a portfolio of their works.
It was not very functional.
The user interface was incomplete and confusing.
It was not visually appealing.
The interactions were poorly designed and had repetitive content.
Lacked information that it needs to display to attract business.
There was no consistency in design.
Improve the UX of the website
Attract more business.
Create a simple and minimalistic design.
Create functional, yet aesthetically appealing interface.
Organise content in a user-friendly manner.
Introduce clean interactions.
Focus on consistency throughout the experience.
